About the Trust
Many tools and solutions are needed to address the challenges facing Great Salt Lake due to low water levels and rising salinity in the lake. The Great Salt Lake Watershed Enhancement Trust is just one of those solutions.

Wetlands & habitats in Great Salt Lake’s surrounding ecosystem to benefit Great Salt Lake hydrology
Sustain Great Salt Lake & Wetlands
Improve water quality & quantity
ENGAGE / LEVERAGE FUNDING
Engage with agriculture, local landowners, local governments, tribal entities, & others
Attract or leverage other public or private funding
WATER DISTRIBUTION / MANAGEMENT
Improve water distribution (control structures, measurement, etc.)
Support water management & planning efforts
Otherwise fulfill the purposes of enhancing, preserving, or protecting Great Salt Lake.
